Featuring a full-tang construction, the blade is forged from L6 steel, clay-tempered, and water-quenched, resulting in a genuine top-quality hamon and exceptional hardness that meets the demands of actual combat.

The blade undergoes a meticulous multi-stage polishing process by skilled craftsmen, resulting in a blade that is exceptionally sharp and suitable for real cutting, including Tameshigiri (the cutting of medium to soft targets such as tatami, bamboo, and pulp). The polished blade is divided into three distinct sections, each with its own level of reflective brilliance: a mirror-like surface layer, a grinding white layer, and the blade zone layer.

The tsuka, or handle, is made of wood wrapped in genuine ray skin and traditional silk ito, providing a comfortable and secure grip. The saya, or scabbard, is crafted from hardwood and embellished with inlaid horns, finished with a high-quality lacquer work.
