This sword features a brand new condition and is crafted from high-performance 9260 spring steel. The handle is made of simulation ray skin and hard wooden materials, while the saya (scabbard) is constructed from hard wooden with a lacquered superior paint finish. The fitting components are made of iron, creating an elegant samurai sword.

The overall length of the sword is 41 inches/103 cm, with a blade (nagasa) length of 28 inches/71 cm and a handle length of 10.2 inches/26 cm. The blade width near the habaki (collar) measures 1.26 inches/3.2 cm, tapering to 0.91 inches/2.3 cm near the kissaki (tip).

While it maintains high performance and sharpness, the expensive mirror polishing has been omitted in favor of a more practical finish. The 9260 spring steel used in this sword is hand-forged, clay-tempered, and water-quenched, resulting in high hardness and elasticity. When bent 60 degrees, the blade will automatically return to its original shape without deformation, easily meeting the requirements for actual combat.

The blades are hand-polished to a very sharp edge, making them suitable for real cutting, including Tameshigiri (cutting medium/soft targets such as tatami, bamboo, and pulp).

The hilt is covered in ray skin and wrapped in the traditional style with black silk cord, providing a comfortable and secure grip.

The saya (scabbard) is made of hard wooden with a lacquered superior paint finish, and the metal fittings are of standard size, assembled with an excellent process, creating an outstanding samurai sword.
