Adopting traditional standard katana specifications and craftsmanship, this Wakizashi sword is a top-level, battle-ready masterpiece and a handmade artwork worthy of collection. Crafted by our master swordsmiths, every component of this sword can be disassembled and reassembled like a real katana, making it a perfect choice for expert and demanding practitioners.

The blade is forged from T-10 steel, carefully clay-tempered and water-quenched to achieve a real hamon pattern. Through a meticulous, hand-grinding process of more than a dozen steps, the blade has been honed to a razor-sharp edge, capable of effortlessly cutting through A4 paper and tatami mats. The Unkubi-Zukuri blade structure, combined with the handmade bo-hi, effectively reduces the blade's weight while enhancing its combat effectiveness.

The tsuka (handle) is crafted from hardwood, covered in genuine ray skin and tightly wrapped with real black silk, ensuring a secure grip even after extensive training or combat. The fittings, including the tsuba (guard), habaki, and seppa, are made of brass with a gilt silver finish, adding to the sword's beautiful and durable appearance.

The saya (scabbard) is entirely made of hardwood, with a lacquered finish to protect the blade from the elements. The sageo (sword cord) is tied around the kurikata (knob) of the saya, and the koiguchi (scabbard mouth) is reinforced for added protection.

This package includes the sword and a silk sword bag. Please note that the wooden stand shown in the images is not included. To preserve the sword's condition, we recommend storing it in a dry environment and applying a thin coat of engine oil to the blade when not in use.
