Handmade MURASAME 41-inch Katana Sword with L6 Steel

All its parts can be disassembled and reassembled like a real katana, making it a High level Katana perfect for expert and demanding practitioners.

This high-quality, real HANDMADE sword is brand new and of the Katana type. The blade is made of L6 steel, clay tempered, with a real hamon. It has been advanced polished, with a real yokote, resulting in a razor-sharp edge. The blade's hardness measures 58-61HRC, with a Maru structure and a handmade Bo-hi.

The Tsuka (handle) is made of hardwood, covered in real ray skin, with an Ito underlay featuring diamond paper (a new upgrade). The Tsuba (guard) is a high-quality brass carving, gold-plated to complete the pattern. The Saya (scabbard) is made of hardwood, inlaid with three horns and finished with lacquer work.

In terms of size, the Overall Length is 40.5 inches/103cm, the Nagasa Length is 28 inches/71cm, the Handle Length is 10.2 inches/26cm, the Blade Width (near Habaki) is 1.26 inches/3.2cm, and the Blade Width (near Kissaki) is 0.91 inches/2.3cm.

The BLADE is a full-tang, pure manual forging, L6 steel, with differential heat treatment and clay tempering, resulting in a real Hamon. It has been advanced polished through more than a dozen processes, showcasing the beauty of the blade and hamon. The three-dimensional real Yokote is hand-grinded, making it as sharp as a razor, capable of easily cutting A4 paper and tatami.

The FITTINGS of this sword include a high-quality brass Tsuba set, gilded with silver, as well as a hand-carved brass Habaki, which is different from mass-produced Habaki.

The TSUKA's hardwood is covered in real ray skin, with the Ito padded with rhombus paper to increase the feel and combat grip. The Fuchi and Kashira on the Tsuka are made of high-quality brass, with matching Menuki on each side as ornaments. Two Mekugis (pegs) are nailed to secure the Tang of the sword, allowing it to be disassembled.

The SAYA is entirely made of hardwood, with a speckled paint finish that resists slippage, enhances hand feel, and prevents fingerprints. A high-quality Sageo is tied around the Saya's Kurikaka (knob), and the Koiguchi (scabbard mouth) and Kojiri (scabbard tip) are inlaid and fixed with ox horns.
