This brand-new sword features a clay-tempered T10 steel blade, a genuine ray skin and hardwood handle, and a hardwood saya (scabbard) with brass-gilt silver fittings. The overall length is 41 inches (103 cm), with a blade length of 28 inches (71 cm) and a handle length of 10.2 inches (26 cm). The blade width near the habaki (collar) is 1.26 inches (3.2 cm), tapering to 0.91 inches (2.3 cm) near the kissaki (tip).

A silk sword bag is included, but the wooden stand shown in the pictures is not. To properly maintain the sword, avoid storing it in a humid environment. When not in use, keep the blade clean to prevent water stains, then apply a layer of maintenance oil, such as gasoline engine oil, to prevent rust. The brass-carved fixtures are embellished with hand-made gilt gold, adding an elegant and luxurious touch.
